Topic: Crisis Management and Deposit Insurance                              
BPCE presented their views on the reform of the crisis management and deposit insurance framework. 
The methodology to calculate banks’ contribution to the Single Resolution Fund should better reflect 
risks and mirror the actual probability that the contributing bank may need SRF support. A strict 
implementation of the 8 % MREL threshold by all banks to access the SRF is key. The prime role of the 
Deposit Guarantee Schemes should remain to pay out depositors.
