Re:       COPA-COGECA,  FEDIOL,  ePURE,  EBB,  EOA  common  candidate  to  Advisory  Committee  to
the Commission’s study on ILUC.

Dear Ms Abreu Marques,
Following your letter of January 10th, the hereby undersigned, representing the entire supply chain of
European biofuels production would  be eager  to propose that Mr  Don O’Connor  (S&T²  Consultants)
should participate to the Advisory Committee set by the European Commission for a new ILUC study.
Don O’Connor has strong background in economic modelling applied to bioenergy and we believe that
his skills and competencies will make a valuable contribution to the Advisory Committee.
Mr O’Connor is a mechanical engineer with over thirty years of experience in alternative energy and
environmental consulting, and in industry. He has provided advice on fuels, transportation issues, and
greenhouse gas emissions in light of European debate on Indirect Land Use Change (ILUC).

We would like to thank you for the time you will take to consider our request,
Yours faithfully,
