Subject: RE: Art 29 of NFR-penalties - Greek response

Dear
 and collegues,

Regarding article 29 of NFR, we would like to inform you that
infringements of the provisions of the Regulation 2015/2283/EU are
covered under the Horizontal National Legislation of Greece, Law No
4235/2014. The law regulates and describes administrative measures,
procedures, and penalties of non compliances following the
implementation of European and national legislation in the fields of food,
feed and animal health and welfare. In case of imposing administrative
penalties, fines are based on particular, named criteria (e.g. size of the
enterprise/company, repetition of the same non-compliance over the last
three years etc) in order to be effective, proportionate and dissuasive.
We remain at your disposal.

Kind regards,
