Regarding article 29 of NFR, I would like to inform you of the following for Norway: 
 
Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 on novel foods is implemented into Norwegian law through the national 
Regulation 25 July 2017 No. 1215 on novel foods. Section 3 of the regulation, as well as the Norwegian 
general Act 19 December 2003 No. 124 on food production and food safety (food law) (section 23, 24, 25 
and 26), describes different administrative sanctions that can be imposed by the Norwegian Food Safety 
Authority in case of infringements of the provisions on novel foods. In addition, according to section 4 of 
the Norwegian novel food regulation, criminal sanctions such as fines or prison, can be imposed if 
infringements are intentional or negligent.
