RE: NF website and Art 29

I would like to refer to your email message dated 9/1/2018 and 30/1/2018 regarding the above 
subject, and to inform you the following: 
Cyprus applies  the Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council 
of 29 April 2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with 
feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules. 
As regards to Art 29 of the new NFR, we are still in the process of amending our National Food 
Law [The Food (Control and Sale) Law] so as to include this Regulation in the list of Regulations 
for which penalties (penal sanctions and administrative fines) are specified.

Dear colleagues, 
As regards Art 29 there are MS that have not yet replied to the Commission. We have received a 
request for access to documents, in particular the requester want to know what MS have 
notified the Commission on Art 29 and the content of the measures. 
For those MS that already delivered the information we tend to assume that the information 
can be disclosed unless you say otherwise. For those MS indicating that there is a draft not yet 
approved, can you pls let us know whether the draft can be disclosed? For the MS that have not 
yet replied pls do it. 
As we have a specific deadline for replying to the requester, pls reply to us on the above 
requests by 9 February at the latest.
