Meeting organised at the request of Digital Europe.
On data flows/localisation
• Digital Europe stressed the importance for the EU industry to include a text on data flows and
localisation in trade negotiations. Key for them is that such a provision would contain a necessity
test/conditionality, otherwise they would not support it.

in the EU-JPN FTA.
