Commerce Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness, joins the meeting.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Good to hear from you.

I remember having met representatives of the US Chamber of Commerce when I was
working on the CMU Action Plan. I will be happy to meet them again in my new role.
My colleague

Subject: U.S. Chamber of Commerce - request for a meeting

Caro Andrea,

Spero tu stia bene e congratulazioni per il tuo nuovo ruolo!

I am writing to request a meeting on behalf of

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce (the “Chamber”) is the world's largest
business federation and it has been interested in, as well as active on EU
policy developments for many years. Within the Chamber, the Center for
Capital Markets Competitiveness focuses on all issues related to financial
services, capital markets, growth and competitiveness.

will be in Brussels on 14-15 May to meet with
key policymakers to discuss various issues, including some with a third
country, EU-U.S. angle as regards regulatory cooperation and market access.
These include the review of the ESAs, EMIR REFIT, EMIR2/CCP
supervision, AIFMD, CMU, common ownership and others.

The Center for Capital Market Competitiveness recently commissioned
, to prepare
a policy report on these very issues. We will be happy to share the report with
you once it is finalised. We hope that it will prove helpful as policymakers on
both sides of the Atlantic consider next steps on key issues which might affect
the transatlantic regulatory level playing field.

would very much appreciate the possibility to
discuss with you the above issues, in particular asset management issues,
CMU and common ownership, as well as any other topics of interest.

I would very much appreciate if you could let me know if there is a time on
14-15 May that would work for a meeting with you.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.

Best wishes,
