Subject: Introduction

Dear

As I said when in
I have briefed Mr Moedas' chef de cabinet (in a quite brief manner) about
the alignment between the Commissioner's call for Open Innovation and your work. I think it is
important for us here to deepen our understanding of the progress made under your lead in fleshing
out the concept of "OI2.0" and defining an OI model that is actionable by investors and
entrepreneurs.

Antonio (in copy) shared my conclusion that a meeting with you and the Commissioner would be
interesting.

I leave it to you to let Antonio know when you will be next in Brussels so that he can check against
the commissioner's agenda.

Over to you!
