Subject: Your request on access to documents
Dear Mr Schindler,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 29th June 2020 where you propose that EASA provides you with a list
of documents identified by the search “Palantir” and you will afterwards indicate which document
you would like to have released.
Please note that in order to access to that request EASA would have to create manually a new
document, which is not available in an automated way. Your proposal would create an enormous
quantity of work and is not in line with Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 and related case law.
As stated in our previous correspondance, we invite you to specify the objective of your request,
your specific interest in the requested documents, and to narrow down the scope of your request so
as to reduce it to a more manageable amount of documents.
EASA tried to help you specifying your request by making available the nature of the two categories
of documents which could potentially have a link with your request. These 2 categories were as
follows: i) Procurement related documents, and ii) Specific programme related documents. However
you did not revert to us in this regard.
As per our previous corresspondance, please note that in the absence of any further clarification on
your side, the Agency will probably not be in a position to further process it.
We would appreciate if you get back to us by Wednesday, 15th July, COB.
