Subject: Your request for access to documents of 11 February 2021
Our ref: 2021/034
Dear Mr Runci,
I would like to thank you for your request for access to documents, which the EEAS has
thoroughly examined in the framework of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.1
We would like to inform you that there are no matching documents concerning Ms Nathalie
Tocci in her role of Special Adviser to High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Josep
Borrell in the EEAS filing systems, document management databases and archives.
Cabinet of HR/VP confirmed that, since her appointment, Ms Tocci has not undertaken any
mission, participated to any conference, delegation or visit, nor contributed to any procedure,
position paper, non-paper, memo or presentation in her capacity as Special Advisor.
Consequently, there has been so far no remuneration made for any day of work or activity.
Please note that, in line with the relevant legal framework, the Special Advisers do not belong
to the EEAS staff nor HR/VP Cabinet, but are independent non-institutional experts who are
representing themselves in their activities.
Yours sincerely,
[e-signed]
Gabriele Visentin
