In your request, you asked for a
“list of all funds granted in the last 5 years in Western European countries
(Ireland, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium, the
Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria) in the In-vitro Dx Assay development and Biotech sectors.”

Although the title of your request mentions access to documents request, in substance, you are asking for a
list of specifically collected information and not to documents held by the EIT.
Therefore, as formulated, your request does not fall under the scope of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of
the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001 regarding public access to European
Parliament, Council and Commission documents, and will be handled as an access to information request.
In accordance with the Decision on the Ethical and Organisational Code of Conduct of the EIT,1 we will
endeavor to provide you an answer within 15 working days. We will inform you during this period in case an
extension of the deadline is necessary for providing a substantive answer to your request.
