Dear Mr Haar,  
I refer to your e-mail of 23 April 2021, registered on the same day, in which you submit a 
confirmatory 
application 
in 
accordance 
with 
Article 7(2) 
of 
Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council 
and Commission documents1 (hereafter ‘Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001’).  
Your  confirmatory  application  was  submitted  in  relation  to  your  initial  application  of  
29 January 2021 in which you requested, I quote: 
‘documents which contain the following information: 
1)  a  list  of  meetings  that  address  delegated  acts  to  implement  the  taxonomy  regulation 
(from 1. September 2020 till present day) of Commissioner Dombrovskis and members 
of her cabinet or representatives of DG FISMA AND representatives of industry groups 
from the financial sector or the energy sector (production and distribution); 
2) minutes and other reports of these meetings; 
3)  all  correspondence  with  entities  listed  above  on  the  taxonomy  regulation,  including 
emails from 1. September 2020 till present day.’

The  initial  request  was  assigned  to  the  Directorate-General  for  Financial  Stability, 
Financial  Services  and  Capital  Markets  Union.  As  you  did  not  receive  an  initial  reply 
from  that  Directorate-General  within  the  statutory  time  limits,  you  submitted  a 
confirmatory application on 23 April 2021. 
In  the  meantime,  the  initial  reply  in  question  was  sent  to  you  on  11  May  2021.  In  its 
reply,  the  Directorate-General  for  Financial  Stability,  Financial  Services  and  Capital 
Markets Union identified 16 documents and provided you a list with these documents. It 
partially disclosed these documents based on the exception laid down in  Article 4(1)(b) 
(protection  of  privacy  and  the  integrity  of  the  individual)  of  Regulation  (EC)  No 
1049/2001.  
Against this background, the Secretariat-General will close your confirmatory application 
related to the lack of initial reply.
