On CBAM, BusinessEurope expressed support on the measure as such, but have concerns over a too 
fast phase-out of free allowances. DG TAXUD explained that this proposal is closely linked to other 
forthcoming proposals, notably the reform of the EU ETS. Both sides agreed that outreach will be
