Referring to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 on public access to EU documents, I would herewith like to ask for access to the following:

1- all correspondence (including email) between 1st January 2021 and 26th May 2021 between Commissioner Simson, Commissioner Timmermans, Commissioner Breton and/or their cabinets and/or officials from DG Energy, DG Clima, DG Grow one side and representatives of Business & Science Poland and/or the Polish National Hydrogen Technology Platform on the other.

2 - list of meetings/videocalls/calls between 1st January 2021 and 26th May 2021 between officials and representatives of the European Commission and representatives of Business & Science Poland and/or the Polish National Hydrogen Technology Platform on the other.

3 - minutes of the meetings/videocalls/calls mentioned above

I would like to make clear I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis.

To the extent possible, we prefer the documents in electronic format. Documents that cannot be sent in electronic format should be sent to Corporate Europe Observatory, Rue d’Edimbourg 26, 1050 Brussels.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.

I reserve the right to appeal.

Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 business days, according to the regulation.

Thank you for your assistance.

Dear [email address],

I'm confused. In your last response you extend the time limit, but in the one before that you said there's no documents for COmmissioner Breton, his Cabinet, or DG Grow.
Can you explain to what refers the time extension?

Yours sincerely,

Belen Balanya

Dear Ms Balanya,

There was a confusion and the deadline extension for GESTDEM 2021/3532 was sent to your old mail address, [FOI #9568 email] for which the related GESTDEM number is 2021/3458.
- For this number 2021/3458, the response is indeed that there are no documents.
- For GESTDEM 2021/3532, there is a deadline extension until 12 July.

Kind regards,

DG GROW Access to Documents Team.

Dear [email address],

Sorry, still not clear which GESTDEM is for DG Clima and which one for Energy. So I can't know who extended deadline until 12 July and who's late responding.

I understand GROW has no relevant documents.

Could you clarify?

Yours sincerely,

Belen Balanya

Dear [email address],

Also, can you explain what you mean when you said it was sent to my old email address? as far as I know I haven't changed any address.

Yours sincerely,

Belen Balanya
