Access to notifcations Article 39 Schengen Borders Code

The request was successful.

Dear Migration and Home Affairs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

Article 39(1)(d) of Regulation 2016/399 requires the (participating) Member States to notify the Commission of the list of national services responsible for border control. Article 39(2) requires the Commission to make the information notified available to the public by publication in the Official Journal (C Series) and by any other appropriate means.

I would be most grateful to receive the list of authorities notified under Article 39(1)(d).

Yours faithfully

Elspeth Guild

Professor of Law, Queen Mary University of London

Dear Migration and Home Affairs,

Thank you for your reply. I note that the link you have sent does not work. Could you please provide one which does work.

Secondly, the only notification document which I have been able to find on the DG HOME website which you suggest that I consult relates to border crossing points not to authorities.

Please provide the information requested.

Yours faithfully,

Elspeth GUILD

Dear Migration and Home Affairs,
