Dear Court of Justice of the European Union,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
Can you publish any documents related to the decision to hold the article 50 case so quickly?
Can you also publish any political considerations which were makde about the meaningful vote in the United Kingdom House of Commons?
The only public documents available are the Order of the Court of 19 October declaring that the case should be dealt with under the expedited procedure laid down in article 105 of the rules of procedure, and the Opinion of the Advocate General which was presented on 4 December. Both of these documents are available on the Court's website. The final judgment will be available on the website on the morning of Monday 10 December.
All other documents in the case are confidential vis à vis third parties, as is the case for all cases before the ECJ. For your information, Regulation 1049/2001 does not apply to the Court when acting in its judicial capacity.
