Dear Sir/Madam,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, and Regulation 1367/2006, I am requesting the following documents:

Documents related to communication between The Netherlands authorities and DG AGRI
concerning the implementation and enforcement of the buffer strip measure (Dutch: 'bufferstroken') that the European Commission set as a condition for granting derogation to The Netherlands (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/2069 of 30 September 2022)
in the time period from January 1, 2023 until March 5, 2024.

Relevant types of communication include but are not limited to: (draft versions of) minutes, (hand-written) notes, verbatim reports, operational conclusions, briefings, e-mails, attachments, letters and (powerpoint) presentations.

Since the information might at least partly concern 'activities affecting or likely to affect' the 'state of the elements of the environment', I believe Regulation 1367/2006 applies.

Please send me an acknowledgement of receipt of this request. I would appreciate it if you include a list of documents corresponding to my request. Please note I prefer to receive the documents digitally, not physically, in a machine-readable format.

Yours faithfully,

Daniël van Kessel
