Dear Sir,

I refer to your email of 11 July 2018, by which you lodge a confirmatory
application in accordance with Article 7(2) of Regulation 1049/2001
regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission
documents.

We have to inform you that a confirmatory application is not possible at
this stage, as DG DEVCO has not sent you its final reply yet and the
deadline to do so has not yet expired. Indeed, the e-mail sent to you by
DG DEVCO on 11 July was a clarification request combined with the dispatch
of part of the documents covered by your request. It will be completed by
an additional reply and should not be considered as the final reply to
your request.

Dear International Cooperation and Development,

Your note Ref. Ares(2018)3875682 - 20/07/2018 was connected to the wrong request.
It was connected to GestDem 2018/3539, The Right to A Family.
It should have been GestDem 2018/3538.

I can limit my request, for the moment at least, to the following data:

 E-mails exchanged with other European Commission services (approximately 40 documents,
approximately 80 pages)
 E-mails exchanged with speakers, NOT participants (so this will be less than the approximately 120 documents, 240 pages)
 Documents concerning coordination and logistics (agendas and minutes of coordination
meetings) (6 documents, approximately 15 pages)
 Contract, offer and terms of reference (three documents, approximately 30 pages)
 List of participants (one document, eight pages)
 Background document (one document, 14 pages)
 Invitations (approximately 17 documents, approximately 36 pages)

We would like to receive it in batches, so that we can process the information over summer.

Yours faithfully,

Arun Dohle

Dear International Cooperation and Development,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Conference jointly organised by Lumos and DG DEVCO'.

The information received was incomplete. We requested:
In particular, but not limited to, invitations, thank you letters/mails, correspondence related to partnership arrangements, financials, participants list.

The correspondence is incomplete. Also we did not receive the participants list, and details about the financials. According to document 13 the costs were paid under the EIDHR 384-899 project? Please provide all documents.

Also please make public the full streaming of the event. The excuse that children need to be protected does not hold. There is no reference to that in the documents you provided.

The list with invited persons/organisations was provided. Not the list of participants, as requested.

We consider this important and in the public interest, because there should be public awareness about the influence of campaigners, and the support given by the European Commission.
We are flabbergasted, for example, to see that an NGO prepares the speaker brief for an EU Commissioner.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/conf...

Yours faithfully,

Arun Dohle
