Alberto Alemanno

Dear European Parliament,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents, preparatory documents, minutes prepared or in possession of the EU Commission as well as exchanges - such as emails and video conferences - undertaken with third parties which contain the following information:

- methodologies and/or criteria defining the composition of the European Citizens' Panels as foreseen in the Join Declaration on the Conference on the Future of Europe.

Yours faithfully,

Alberto Alemanno

Dear Mr Alemanno,

With your below application, you are requesting the European Parliament to grant public access to documents prepared or in possession of the EU Commission. However, Parliament can only ever assess the disclosure and actually disclose documents that it holds itself. Parliament's processing of your request would therefore likely fail to meet a significant part of your objectives.

Against that background, could you please either confirm whether you actually seek access to the mentioned EU Commission documents from the EU Parliament, or directly address your application to the EU Commission through their dedicated webpage: https://ec.europa.eu/transparency/regdoc..., or clarify the object of your request.

We look forward to reading back from you,

Kind regards,
