Dear European Parliament,

According to the budget rules (budget item 400) of the European Parliament for every political group the following rules on procurement apply:

- a consultation procedure with at least five candidates must be used for contracts with a value of more than € 60 000; a decision may be taken only if at least three valid tenders have been submitted;
- a consultation procedure with at least three candidates must be used for contracts with a value of between € 15 000 and € 60 000;

On the basis of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of 30 May 2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents, I ask the European Parliament Political Groups for all documents relating the contracts awarded in 2020 and 2021, as listed on the website of the European Parliament.

These include:

1) All the consultation communications of the Political Groups and its member parties with the potential providers/candidates before the contract was awarded;
2) All the tender responses that the Political Groups and its member parties have received from interested providers for the contracts with a value of more than € 60 000;
3) All the documents regarding the content of the assignment;
4) All the substantiations on why the winning candidate has been awarded the contract.
