Dear Mr Thompson,

Thank you for your e-mail.

From your request it does not become clear on which topic/subject matter
you do expect the Commission to hold a document as regards the listed
individuals. We are therefore unable to attribute the request to any DG or
service.

Furthermore, your application has a wide temporal scope, i.e. two years
which could usefully be narrowed down (e.g. is the expected correspondence
linked to any particular event?).

Kind regards

Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,

Thank you for your response.

Please could you provide any correspondence which discusses the issue of Brexit/Britain's membership of the EU.

The 12-month time frames originally requested would be preferable, but if this means that cost limits are exceeded then please let me know and I will refine further.

Many thanks for your assistance.

Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,

Thank you for your response, which was very helpful.

I note your comment that there is no direct correspondence between Commission officials or representatives and the specified individuals. However, please note that I also submitted the following questions:

- Correspondence, including emails, sent or received by Commission officials or representatives *which mention* the following names: Tony Blair; Alastair Campbell; Nick Clegg; Gina Miller; Kenneth Clark; Peter Mandelson; or Lord Andrew Adonis, during the year 2016.

- Correspondence, including emails, sent or received by Commission officials or representatives *which mention* the following names: Tony Blair; Alastair Campbell; Nick Clegg; Gina Miller; Kenneth Clark; Peter Mandelson; or Lord Andrew Adonis, during the year 2017.

Therefore not direct correspondence between EU officials and these individuals; but emails from EU officials which mention any of the following names.

I hope that this makes sense - please let me know if further clarification required.

Thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,
Louis Thompson
