Dear Mr Peene,
We refer to your request dated 10/11/2016 which was registered and
attributed by the Secretariat General to several Directorates General of
the Commission.
Your application is currently being handled. However, DG TRADE as well as
DG AGRI, DG SANTE, DG GROW and SG were not in a position to complete the

historical archives.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 21/12/2016.
Please note that each DG will reply to you on its own behalf.
We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Further to our message below this is to inform you that we, as well as DG
AGRI and DG SANTE, will need some more time to finalize our replies to

as we can and will keep you posted as early as possible in the new year.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Dear Mr Peene,
This is to inform you of the state of play regarding your access to
documents request with the reference number stated above. We are working
on your reply but due to a large number of ongoing requests we have been
unable to finalize your reply. The documents identified in DG TRADE and in
the historical archives still need to be individually assessed. A letter
will then be drafted and the reply sent to you as soon as possible.
We are coordinating with DG SANTE and DG AGRI, both of whom are also in
the process of finalizing their replies to you.
We would like to apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience
and understanding.
Best regards,
