Dear Mr Ollin,

Please find attached a message concerning your request for access to
Commission documents registered under the above case number 2023/0369.

Kind regards,

DG ENERGY – Access to documents team

Dear Energy,

I have now narrowed down the number of external companies/associations. I am interested in the following ones:
Bioenergy Europe, AS Graanul Invest, Enviva, US Industrial Pellet Association, Drax Group plc, Eesti Tööandjate Keskliit, Swedish Forest Industries Federation, AGRICORD, LRF Federation of Swedish Farmers. I hope this will make it more manageable.

I argue that this request is of overriding public interest, since it is part of a journalistic project.

Yours faithfully,

Heino Ollin

ENER-ACCES-DOCUMENTS@ec.europa.eu,

Dear Mr Ollin,

regarding your email sent on 3 March 2023 in which you ask for an update
on the status of your request nr. 2023/0369, I inform you that we are
still waiting for the contribution from one of the Services that we
consulted.

Once we will receive this contribution, we will be able to finalise the
reply to your request.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Dear Energy,

I want to inform you to that I made a complaint to the European Ombudsman. I also like to remind you that I wrote in my request that I prefer to get the documents on a rolling basis, if possible.

Yours faithfully,

Heino Ollin

Dear Energy,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Correspondence of Commissioner Simson and her cabinet related to biomass', request nr. 2023/0369.

I made my original request on January 19 2023. I then narrowed it down to make it easier to handle on January 23 2023. Now the handling of my request is very long overdue. The last answer I got was "we are
still waiting for the contribution from one of the Services that we
consulted", even though I specified that I wish to get documents on a rolling basis if everything can not be handed out at once.

By law, under all circumstances, the authority should have responded by now.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/corre...

Yours faithfully,

Heino Ollin
