Correspondence on glyphosate
Dear Permanent Representation of Netherlands to the EU,
Under the Dutch Law on the Openness of Administration (WOB), I am requesting the following information:
-all internal documents, correspondence (including emails), agendas, phone logs, minutes of meetings or any other reports of such meetings where the active substance glyphosate was discussed/mentioned/referred to by officials of the Permanent Representation of Netherlands to the EU (between March 2015 and December 22th 2016).
Please let me know if you need any further information which could facilitate your research.
Kind regards,
Vincent Harmsen
Dear Mr. Harmsen,
I hereby acknowledge receipt of your mail of 22 December 2016, received on the same date, in which you requested information on internal documents, correspondence (including emails), agendas, phone logs, minutes of meetings or any other reports of such meetings where the active substance glyphosate was discussed/mentioned/referred to by officials of the Permanent Representation of Netherlands to the EU (between March 2015 and December 22th 2016) on the basis of the Government Information (Public Access) Act (Wet openbaarheid van bestuur; Wob).
Your application will be assessed and you will receive a response within four weeks of receipt. If for any reason it takes longer than four weeks to process your application, we will contact you.
If you have any questions concerning the status of your application and the time limit for dealing with it, you can contact me.
Yours sincerely,
Mariëtta Schuerman

Geachte heer Harmsen,
Naar aanleiding van uw verzoek van 22 december zou ik graag met u in contact treden. Op welk telefoonnummer zou ik u kunnen bereiken?
Met vriendelijke groet,
Mariëtta Schuerman
Dear Mr. Harmsen,
By e-mail of 22 December 2016 you submitted an application to the Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as referred to in section 3, subsection 1 of the Government Information (Public Access) Act (Wet openbaarheid van bestuur; Wob) concerning correspondence on glysophate.
The Wob provides that a decision must generally be taken within four weeks after receipt of the application, but may be deferred by four weeks. It is not possible to decide on your application within four weeks because more time is necessary to ensure that the decision is taken with due care. On the basis of section 6 of the Wob I am therefore extending the time limit for deciding on your application by four weeks.
As mentioned in my e-mail of 11 January 2017 we would like to get in touch with you as regards the specifics of your application. Would you be so kind as to contact us?
Yours sincerely,
Mariëtta Schuerman
