DG JUST's lobby meetings on DSA/DMA

Dear DG Justice and Consumers,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting:

- All documents - including but not limited to minutes, (hand-written) notes, audio recordings, verbatim reports, operational conclusions, lines to take, e-mails, and presentations - related to the meetings members of DG Justice and Consumers below the level of Commissioner and Cabinet have held with interest representatives on the Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act (including previous iterations of the proposals such as New Competition Tool and Markets Investigation Tool) since 01 August 2020 until today;

- All correspondence (i.e. any emails, correspondence, telephone call notes, and/or text messages including WhatsApp exchanges) between members of DG Justice and Consumers below the level of Commissioner and Cabinet have held with interest representatives on the Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act (including previous iterations of the proposals such as New Competition Tool and Markets Investigation Tool) since 01 August 2020 until today.

Considering the current situation and challenges it presents for post delivery, I would appreciate receiving all the replies electronically via the asktheeu.org website.

Subject:           Your application for access to documents – GESTDEM
2021/1651

We refer to your e-mail of  10 March 2021 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered under the above mentioned reference
number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 09 April 2021.

An extended time limit is needed as the application concerns documents
held by different Services, which must be consulted.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents.

The new time limit expires on 30 April 2021.
