The request was successful.

Dear Taxation and Customs Union,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request a list of all lobby meetings held by DG Fisma since November 2015 where either the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base and / or the Common Corporate Tax Base were discussed, to include the name of the lobby organisation, date, topic, and names of individuals attending. I would further like to request the notes/ minutes of all such meetings.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Madam,

We refer to your request dated 05/02/2018 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on 05/02/2018 under the above mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 26/02/2018.

An extended time limit for more in-depth investigation is needed in order to complete our assessment on the possibility for the public disclosure of the document requested.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 19/03/2018.

We apologize for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Taxation and Customs Union,

Thank you very much for the reply and the list of lobby meetings.

I note that the list of meetings provided includes over 35 seprate meetings, but that you were only able to find minutes or reports that relate to 2 of the meetings. I wonder why there were not minutes for the other meetings and wondered if perhaps, for example, they had been exchanged as emails between the participants? Please could you clarify the situation and whether you have checked for email versions of minutes / reports of these meetings?

Thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann

Dear Ms Cann,

From the meetings and presentation listed in our answer to your access to documents request, in about 30 of them it was me either alone or with colleagues from my section which presented and discussed the pending proposal for a Council Directive from 2011 or the upcoming proposals for the re-launch of the CCCTB.

To provide you with a picture what were our objectives and aims for having these contacts with the stakeholders, how they were prepared and organized and what we got from the contacts, I thought it might be best that we would just meet and discuss these aspects.

Would this approach be fine with you?

I would be available for a meeting at most working days after 14.5.2018 or on 3rd or 4th of May.

Best regards and have a nice evening

Dear Taxation and Customs Union, specifically Mr Ihli,

Thanks for the reply. In fact, I am not based in Brussels so a meeting would be tricky, but a call would be useful, especially if it could be arranged in the next few days. Might you suggest some times?

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann
