Dear Mr Tan,

In your application, you have not specified a relevant period as regards
the requested documents, possibly leading to a very large number of
documents being identified. Those documents would need to be carefully
reviewed in order to establish that they are indeed relevant to your
application as well as to ensure that no exception to disclosure applies,
as laid down in Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001. In order for
Parliament to be able to better respond to your application within the
statutory time limit, would you agree to apply a timeframe as regards the
requested documents, for your application to concern documents drawn up or
received, for example, in the last 2 or 3 years or the 9th and 8th
legislatures (going back to July 2014)?

In addition to that, we would like to ask for a clarification whether the
"issue of differentiated integration in the EU" was meant in relation to
Turkey or in general terms.

We would appreciate receiving your response as soon as possible since it
is not possible to extend the deadline beyond what is set out in Article 7
of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
