Dear Mr Killick,
With your e-mail of 13 February 2017, you requested for access to ‘The
Wassen International dossier for the use of sodium borate in the
manufacture of food supplements that led to the EFSA opinion Journal
(2004) 80, 1-22’.
Checking the relevant opinion according to the question number mentioned
in your access request (EFSA-Q-2003-018), it appears this concerns a
generic opinion based on published data, which is quoted in the list of
References. It was not based on data submitted by a particular applicant.
No ‘Wassen International dossier’ has been referred to in this opinion.

)
Likewise and in application of Article 6(2) of Public Access Regulation
(EC) No 1049/2001, we would like to ask you to clarify further your
request by replying to this message. After your request has been duly
clarified, allowing EFSA to identify easily the document you are
interested in, we will respond to you within 15 working days.
Yours sincerely,

Dear EFSA.public.access.to.documents,
The dossier that I am referring to was submitted to the EC for assessment by EFSA was from Wassen International Ltd. This dossier led to the derogation of sodium borate from EC law.
Yours sincerely,
Mark John
