Hi Dominique,

Can I please get the annual figures used in this graphic below, so I can
do my own infographic on sightings of drones?

It can be found in this report, P55:

Thanks,

Chris.

Regarding the statistics, which authority collects and holds them,
please ? I’d like to get the number of incidents each year (it’s only in
graphic format at present) and, as mentioned earlier, more details about
the incidents and where they took place?

Thanks for all your help.

Regarding the graphic on P6 of the “Final report – Drone Collision Task
Force”:

-          Do you have some more up-to-date statistics, in particular, the
full data for 2016 (it stops at May)

-          Can I have a breakdown of the incidences in this table, so I
can see a bit more detail on what and where the incidents took place.

Also – is it possible to see an embargoed copy of what you’re publishing
tomorrow?

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

Hello Chris, thank you for your message.

12 of May (tomorrow) is the start of the public consultation for our
proposal on how to regulate drones at European level. I have attached
again the press release for your reference. The consultation is open to
everyone for one month.

On the risks related to collisions between aircraft and drones, we
published a study earlier in September last year. Here is the link:

And on the webpage below you will find more information on the topic:

I hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Hello,

I’m a web journalist at Euronews and I’m contacting you regarding your
press release of May 5 about regulating small drones.

I’m wondering if you could tell me how much of a problem drones are,
either with anecdotal evidence or figures about how many safety alerts
there have been in recent years regarding collisions between aircraft and
drones?

Is that something you could help with?

I noticed the report talks about an impact assessment being published on
May 12, which may cover the above question, I’m not sure.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Chris Harris

Hi,
Thanks for your email.
Your press officer provided the first part of the request, despite not
answering my earlier emails, so yes, this part of the request is
satisfied.
However the second part of the request is still outstanding, ie: "For
2015-2017 please provide a spreadsheet of each incident, including date,
location, altitude of incident, aircraft type, drone type and details of
what happened."
Thanks
Chris
