Edaravone treatment for ALS

We're waiting for Jennifer Dean to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Court of Justice of the European Union,
I am asking why ALS patients in Italy are allowed access to the drug Edaravone/RADICUT ( approved by the FDA) whilst all other countries in Europe have not. This drug is the first effective treatment for ALS/MND in over twenty years.

I was diagnosed in 2013 and can no longer speak, eat or breathe. I am on a ventilator. I am one of the lucky ones. Most die within 2-3 years. People suffering this devastating, cruel disease all over Europe are angry and feel let down. This is grossly unjust of the EMA, especially as the executive director is Italian. This drug MUST be available NOW before more people die..

Yours
Jennifer Dean,
France
