Dear Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents regarding the following matter.

Currently the Brussels Capital Region (BCR) is undertaking to rehabilitate the so-called “Hippodrome de Boitsfort”.

In order to accomplish this goal the BCR has appointed a private partner as the concession operator (concessionaire in French) of this site as of July 1, 2014 who has been tasked to rehabilitate the site and exploit it.

This concession operator is Droh!me Exploitation SA, a company incorporated under Belgian law and registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0567.910.452.

The project is known as the Droh!me Melting Park or Droh!me Park and to support this company it has received an EFRD subsidy from the BCR.

In the framework of this we request you to provide us the following documents:
- the concession agreement entered into between Drohme and the BCR
- the subsidy agreement that exists between Drohme and the BCR
- all documents indicating which amounts have already been paid to Drohme

We look forward to receiving your reply and thank you for your efforts.

Yours faithfully,
Thomas Baudewijn
