ERRIN: communication with local authorities

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Migration and Home Affairs should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Migration and Home Affairs,

According to its own website, "ERRIN is currently active in 40 countries worldwide" [1]

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- copies of correspondence between DG Home staff, and authorities of said 40 countries, as it relates to ERRIN's work in those countries.

I refer to your e-mail of 23 May 2022 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on the same day under the above-mentioned reference number .

The extended time limit expired on 16 June 2022.

I regret to have to inform you that we were not able to respond within the extended time limit, as we have not yet finalised internal consultations. I can assure you that we are doing our utmost to provide you with a final reply as soon as possible.
