EU Citizens on Abroad
Dear Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (EMPL),
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
What kind of privileges, rights, protection procedures, do EU citizens have while traveling abroad?
Is there a unified framework for all citizens no matter of Member State of origin?
Basically what happens with EU citizen if they gets in trouble when being abroad.
Yours faithfully,
Murat Elbeye
