EU spending on United Kingdom nations

We're waiting for Luke Stanley to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Budget,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like information on the following. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible.

I would like to details of:

1. The annual EU spending on England in the financial years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

2. The annual EU spending on Wales in the financial years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

3. The annual EU spending on Scotland in the financial years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

4. The annual EU spending on Northern Ireland in the financial years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

If you need further clarification, please contact me by email. My preferred format to receive the information is electronically, but I can accept hard copies.

Some parts of this request may be easier to answer than others, and in such case I would ask that you release available data as soon as possible rather than delay the entire request.

If FOI requests of a similar nature have been asked already, please could you include your responses to those requests. If the costs of processing this request exceed the limit in the Act, please advise on what information you are able to supply within the cost limit.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as outlined by the statute.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your interest. Information on recipients of European Union’s funds awarded under direct management are published on the Financial Transparency System (FTS) website http://ec.europa.eu/budget/fts/index_en.... before 30 June of the year following the financial year in which the funds were awarded. Information on the year 2014 will thus be available by the end of June 2015. Information on years 2011 to 2013 has already been published on FTS (direct management) and can be downloaded. When analysing the publicly available FTS data, please note the detailed explanations of the database http://ec.europa.eu/budget/fts/about_en.....

The Commission´s central accounting system, which is used to collect the data on beneficiaries, does provide the information on which Member State the beneficiary comes from, but not on entities on lower administrative level. The only further indication of locality are recipients addresses.

Information on recipients of EU funds managed by national governments, regional managing authorities, agencies and other EU bodies (so called shared management and indirect management) is published on their websites. The Commission provides links to those entities on the following Europa page: http://ec.europa.eu/contracts_grants/ben...

Please do not hesitate to contact me in case you have any further question.

Best regards,
