On Monday 21 October 2019, MEPs voted on a request from the VERTs/ALE group, to add as the fourth item of business in the afternoon, Council and Commission statements on 'The situation in Catalonia following the sentencing of the Catalan political and social leaders'. The request was rejected by electronic vote (118 in favour, 299 against, 21 abstention) There was no roll-call vote. (See minutes under the link: https://www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/doc... ).

All plenary sittings are minuted and the minutes are published on Parliament's plenary website. Votes take place in accordance with Parliament's rules of procedure. It is only where a roll call vote has taken place that the details of who voted in favour or against or abstained is available and published.
