Exceptions to Article 8.1 of Directive 95/46/EC under 8.4, made available under 8.6

The request was successful.

Paul-Olivier Dehaye

Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

I would like the list of all exceptions made by the United Kingdom to Article 8.1 of Directive 95/46/EC under Article 8.4, notified to the Commission under Article 8.6.

In addition to a list, I would like to obtain all the documents relating to exchanges between the United Kingdom and the EU Commission, regarding those exceptions, since 1997.

Yours faithfully,

Paul-Olivier Dehaye

Secretariat General of the European Commission

Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,
Thank you for your response.
The document you sent me is the notification to EU authorities of the "Data Protection (Processing of Sensitive Personal Data)(Elected Representatives) Order 2002". This document includes, on page 3 (point 5), a reference to another document that I would have expected (in hindsight) to also be included in your response.
That would be the UK "Data Protection (Processing of Sensitive Personal Data) Order 2000 (SI 2000 No. 417)", or actually its notification to EU authorities.
Can you please search again for this notification, and send it to me as soon as possible, or otherwise confirm the notification was never sent?

Yours faithfully,

Paul-Olivier Dehaye
