Expertise contributing towards the reports of the High Level Working Group on Jobs and Growth

The request was refused by Trade.

Dear Trade (TRADE),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

A list of all experts and groups of experts that contributed to the reports of the High Level Working Group on Jobs and Growth.

On page 12, point 10, in the 'Communication from the Commission on the Collection and Use of Expertise by the Commission: Principles and Guidelines' (Brussels, 11.12.2002 COM(2002) 713 final, it states that "When using expertise, departments should maintain a record of the process including the terms of reference and the main contributions of different experts or groups of experts."

Therefore any non-Commission expertise that contributed to the two reports should be recorded and therefore publicly available.

Yours faithfully,

Pascoe Sabido
