Facebook lobbying GDPR

The request was successful.

Dear Madam, Sir,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting from documents which contain the following information:

- All documents created between 25 January 2012 and 31 December 2015 – including e-mails, papers, non-papers, presentations and minutes – referring, summarising and/or citing comments of Facebook on the European Commission proposal that became the general data protection regulation; including documents related to the trilogue negotiations.

I'm looking forward to receiving your reply.

All the best,
Peter Teffer

PS: I have noticed that EU institutions sometimes send both a digital and a paper version by registered mail of your response. Please only send paper versions of your communication if you do not intend to send a digital copy. The physical mail always reaches me later than e-mail, so paper versions are environmentally wasteful and somewhat inefficient.

which is detailed under this link :

Parliament understands that he scope of your request includes the records

Rapporteur contacts

Documents held or produced by MEPs, and rapporteurs, are considered as
Parliament documents for the purpose of Regulation (EC) 1049/2001 only in
as far as they have been tabled under Parliament's rules of procedure, as
provided for by Article 116 of Parliament's Rules of Procedure. It has to
be underlined that, in that context, most meetings organized by political
groups or Members, and most contacts as well as correspondence of
political groups and individual Members with interest representatives or
third parties are not considered as Parliament documents, and they are not
included in parliamentary proceedings. Parliament does not hold documents
produced by MEPs that are relevant to your request pursuant to Article 116
of the Rules of Procedure.

Nevertheless in the specific case of the legislative procedure
2012/0011(COD), EP Rapporteur for the GDPR, Mr Albrecht, made his lobby
contacts public under the following links :
