False data uncorrectable. Computer system untraceable.
Dear Data Protection Officer,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
When I was in court in one EU Country, in about 2017, a representative of that country's Ministry of Justice brought up false data from a computer system in a different country.
I have been writing to many organisations under GDPR rules, and nobody will identify this erroneous computer database:
The different country's Consular Services
The host country's Ministry of Justice, associated services, and police services.
I even paid a lawyer in the different country to track the data down, who disappeared and ran off with my money.
Why is is so easy for Government bodies to get their hands on FALSE data about me, and proliferate it across international borders, but not tell me the location of that data and get it corrected?
Please call me on +447472768414 as an adjustment for my disability.
Yours faithfully,
H Coulton
Dear Sir,
many thanks for your email.
The question you raise seems first and foremost to be related to the admissibility of evidence in a criminal court case, which is a matter of national procedural under penal laws. On this point, the European institutions have no competence and will consequently not be in a position to advise you on the right course of action.
As far as data protection rules under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) are concerned, please note that the Data Protection Officer of the European Commission, to whom you have addressed your email, has no competence in this area. His remit is limited to ensuring the respect of data protection rules within the European Commission.
Regarding the application of the GDPR in the Member States of the European Union, we advise you to contact the Data Protection Authority of the concerned EU Member State.
The list of the national Data Protection Authorities in the EU Member States is publicly available online: https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/board/....
Yours faithfully,
The EC Data Protection Office
