FRO reports to Management Board

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, European Border and Coast Guard Agency should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting the following documents:

- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board number I to XIII, both inclusive.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any doubts or question in regards to this request.

Thank you in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Luisa Izuzquiza

PAD, European Border and Coast Guard Agency

Dear Ms. Izuzquiza,

Please be informed that your application pertains to a large number of documents. Kindly indicate, in order to better serve your needs, whether you would consider narrowing it down or whether you agree to consider your application as three individual applications to be processed successively.

The first application would process the Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2013, the second application would process the Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2014, and the third application would process the Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2015. Upon the conclusion of each application the successive application will be registered and process.

Please be informed that until we are able to establish a commonly acceptable fair solution, the applicable deadlines are suspended.

Yours sincerely,

Transparency Office

Dear Frontex,

Many thanks for your e-mail and for the proposal for a fair solution.

I hereby confirm I agree with splitting up my initial request into three different, consecutive requests, as suggested by Frontex. I would nonetheless rather reverse the order proposed, therefore receiving the documents as follows:
- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2015: first application
- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2014: second application
- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2013: third application

I hope you will find this alternative a suitable solution.

Yours sincerely,

Luisa Izuzquiza

- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2015: first application
- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2014: second application
- Fundamental Rights Officer reports to Management Board of 2013: third application

We will inform you about the registration of the second and third application accordingly. Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 is applicable for all applications.

Please be informed that until receive your confirmation, the applicable deadlines are suspended.
