Grants provided by the European Commission to data protection authorities

The request was successful.

Dear Justice and Consumers,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

Details of grants provided by the European Commission to data protection authorities. In a response to an MEP's question provided by Didier Reynders on 10 August (here: https://www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/doc...), Mr Reynders said that "the Commission is providing grants to support in particular the work of the data protection authorities reaching out to stakeholders". I would like to request information about these grants: how much money has been provided, to which authorities, and on what timeline.

Yours faithfully,

Sam Clark
