Delivered

Dear DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW),

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Industry lobbying on EU packaging and packaging waste law' (Ref GestDem No 2017/651).

I would like to thank you for the documents sent in response to my request, but I disagree with your decision to remove virtually all text from several of the documents. Your argument is that the documents "contain text unrelated to the request". My request was for correspondence in which the Commission's proposal for the packaging and packaging waste directive was discussed, not only for parts of these documents. I would therefore like to request the full, original versions of these documents, without text having been expunged.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/indu...

Yours faithfully,

Olivier Hoedeman
