Interactions with Microsoft

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Justice and Consumers should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Justice and Consumers,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents, note meetings which contain the following information:

For the period between November 2014 and March 2019:

- List of lobby meetings held with your DG, with Microsoft or its intermediaries. The list should include: date, individuals attending + organisational affiliation, the issues discussed,
- Minutes and other reports of these meetings
- All correspondence including attachments (i.e. any emails, correspondence or telephone call notes) between your DG (including the Commissioner and the Cabinet) and Amazon or any intermediaries representing its interests.
- All documents prepared for the meetings and exchanged in the course of the meetings between both parties.

Dear Madam,

We refer to your e-mail dated 08/03/2019 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on 12/03/2019 under the above mentioned reference number.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 02/04/2019.

Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents.

The new time limit expires on 26/04/2019. We apologise for this delay and for any inconvenience this may cause.
