Internal Frontex communication regarding personnel absence due to reputation

European Border and Coast Guard Agency did not have the information requested.

Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,

On May 30th 2022, acting Executive Director Aija Kalnaja stated to the Civil Liberties Committee that "some [staff] refuse to come to the agency because of its reputation" [1].

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- internal communication between members of the Frontex executive team (i.e. the Executive Director, the Deputies and Heads of department) regarding potential staff absenteeism or reluctance to visit the agency due to its reputation. These documents can be either internal letters, memos and emails, but also any reports generated with regards this topic.
The documents should be limited to the period from June 2019 to April 2022, inclusive.

As always, I remain at your disposal for any questions related to my request.

Yours faithfully,

Anas Ambri
