Council of the European Union

Dear Mr Mc Cabe,

We are sorry to hear that the Commission hasn't reacted to your inquiry. We are nevertheless unable to intervene in this; please contact the Commission again.

As far as the Council is concerned, we have already explained that we don't hold the information requested.

Furthermore, your inquiry clearly was outside the scope of Regulation 1049/2001, as you were asking questions but not requesting access to specific, pre-existing documents.

Regulation 1049/2001 not being applicable, it is therefore not possible either to introduce a "confirmatory application" based on it.

Yours sincerely,
