Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

To separate current functions and to ensure the objectivity of the procedures, it's planned to create a new OLAF Unit to check the legality of its activities. This is now to be separated outside from the current structure of the Unit OLAF01 with the HoU - Mr Cano-Romera. In order to guarantee independence and separation of functions, is it planned to organize recruitment of new staff for new Unit, recruited independently from 01 ? or is it sufficient to transfer there the persons already recruited by Mr Cano Romera for OLAF01, together with Mrs Kolloczek to be proposed there as acing HoU ?

These persons have been meeting outside of work together and they have been linked through social networks for many years, with the participation of their families, having much in common, and they shared private contacts influencing their choices in the job. This fact is widely known in their environment and among their common friends

Mrs. Kolloczek had known also on private ground Mr. Cano Romer for many years before he hired her . She knew him through her husband who is his long-time acquaintance from Spain where they come from and through a number of friends they had on common
Mrs Kolloczek had been referred to Mr Cano Romera as a job seeker on private grounds, still present

Yours faithfully,

Eve Hoffman
