Dear Mr Schneider,

We hereby acknowledge receipt of your application for access to documents

Dear EC ARES NOREPLY,
thank you for confirming my FOI request.
I actually very much appreciate AskTheEU website, because it allows easy submission of FOI requests and documents the replies, so nobody can claim I made those up, like your own Mr Smits did, in public.
I do not mind my private address being published, because it is available on my site anyway, following German law of legal accountability for slander, and also so I can prove you actually received my postal address. You remember like last time you kept losing and not receiving it?
I now look forward to several delays, my address being lost again, and then eventually told that the information I asked for is secret because it is about Open Access.

Yours sincerely,

Leonid Schneider

Dear Research and Innovation,

I would appreciate a reply to my inquiry. You made an earlier decision to reject my other inquiry (about RJ Smits-Frontiers interactions), based on your studying the list of stakeholders which I now requested. It cannot be that time-consuming to find that list again.

Yours faithfully,

Leonid Schneider

Dear Research and Innovation,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'List of Stakeholders engaged by Robert-Jan Smits in preparation for Plan S in spring 2018'.

Robert-Jan Smits claimed in autumn 2018 that he was advised by following publishers during preparations of Plan S: Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, F1000 and Frontiers.
Evidence is video-documented:

Dear ve_sg.accessdoc (SG),

Your reply (which took such long time) suggests administrative incompetence or even misconduct. I most obviously did not ask you to search for a non-existing document titled "List of Stakeholders", I asked you to make such a list, based on your own official and certified claim that you hold records of such stakeholder consultations.
I have now lodged a complaint with European Ombudsman.

Yours sincerely,

Leonid Schneider
