Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
Can you provide me documents on how many members of staff decided not to move when you left London?
Also can you provide all costings for the move including staffing?
Yours faithfully,
Abdul Hai
Dear Mr Hai,
Thank you for your communication, which we acknowledge receipt of. We will be reverting within due course, pursuant to Regulation (EC) 1049/2001.

Dear Mr Hai,
Thank you for your email requesting access to documents pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001. The European Banking Authority (‘EBA’) strives to be transparent and open to as great an extent possible.
As regards your request related to the number of staff members who decided not to move to Paris in the context of the EBA's relocation from London: in 2019 the EBA received a total number of 14 resignations; 74 staff members requested the reimbursement of removal costs from London to Paris.
In relation to the overall costs of the relocation, you may find detailed information in the EBA's Annual Accounts 2019 (pages 19 to 22 in particular), available at the following link: https://www.eba.europa.eu/about-us/budge....
We trust this is to your satisfaction. Should you not be satisfied with our reply, you may consider your right to a confirmatory application pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.
Kind regards,
Legal and Compliance Unit
