Dear Internal Market and Services (MARKT),
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
The details of the two bidders who participated in the tender for a service contract referenced as per below, and their respective offers.
Title of the contract: "10 years after the take-off: taking stock and assessing the effects of using international financial reporting standards (IFRSs) in the EU"
File reference: MARKT/2013/039/F
The contract was initially awarded to Mazars in consortium with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW.
I would like to know and understand why the above mentioned offer of Mazars and ICAEW was considered to be a better tender than the other two.
Many thanks in advance for giving consideration to this request.
Carlos Martin Tornero
