Medium Article on Copyright Directive

We're waiting for Siyanna Lilova to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Communications Networks, Content and Technology,

On 14 February 2019 the European Commission posted an article titled "The Copyright Directive: how the mob was told to save the dragon and slay the knight" through its Medium account [1]. The article has subsequently been removed [2].

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting all internal communication, including emails, regarding the publishing and deleting of the article.

Dear Madam,
We refer to your e-mail dated 17/02/2019 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 18/02/2019 under the above-mentioned
reference number.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 11/03/2019.
An extended time limit is needed since different services must be
consulted on the requested documents.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit by 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
